Cooking Meals for Kids

We just got a fabulous new blender. It is a Hamilton Beach Wave StationTM Express Dispensing Blender and it works great! This is Audrey and Valerie enjoying their Apple Juice Slushie. We just took a container of frozen apple juice concentrate and added some water and ice in the blender. It came out kind of like a snow cone so they were able to eat/drink it with a straw and a spoon. It was a great summer drink. Just think of all the flavors you can make.

The blender has been great for margaritas and other ‘adult’ drinks in that it gets the ice really fine and breaks up all of the chunks. It forces the ice down to the blades in order to break up the ice. I really do not like chunks of ice in my drinks. And, the 48 oz jar is dishwasher safe which really makes clean up a breeze.
